MOSCOW, December 30. /TASS/. /TASS/ Around 40 civilian facilities have been damaged in downtown Belgorod following a massive shelling attack by Ukrainian troops, a spokesman for the local emergencies services told TASS.
"The strikes targeted civilian infrastructure. According to preliminary data, about 40 facilities received various damages. None of them is military," the spokesman said, adding that among these facilities are a shopping mall, a university, and residential houses.
Downtown Belgorod came under a massive shelling attack by Ukrainian troops on Saturday. According to the emergencies ministry, ten people, including one child, were killed and 45 others, including four children, were injured in the shelling attack.
