Russian envoy to UN suggests that UNSC compares strikes against Ukraine, Gaza
Dozens of such "barbarian target strikes" are delivered every day against Gaza but the West at the same time does not consider it to be the cause for calling urgent meetings of the Security Council, Nebenzya added
UNITED NATIONS, December 30. /TASS/. Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya suggested that members of the UN Security Council compare strikes delivered against Ukraine and the Gaza Strip to make sure that operations of Ukrainian defense systems stationed in living quarters in defiance of international law was the cause of victims among civilians.
"This is obvious not merely for exporters but also for any non-biased observer. Here, for example, is a link to a video with the today’s hit of a residential building in Kiev, which shows how an object in fire is slowly falling on the building. Only top floors of the building turned out to be damaged in this case. A strike missile is not flying with such velocity and on such path; obviously, these are consequences of operation of the Ukrainian air defense. And here, for comparison, is a link to another video with an Israeli missile hitting a residential building in Khan Yunis in the south of the Gaza Strip. Not merely a moment of the missile strike can be seen on that but also that ruins are only left from the multi-storey building," the Russian diplomat said.
Dozens of such "barbarian target strikes" are delivered every day against Gaza but the West at the same time does not consider it to be the cause for calling urgent meetings of the Security Council, Nebenzya added.
