UNITED NATIONS, December 9. /TASS/. The United States’ diplomatic activities have turned the Gaza Strip into a graveyard for children, Russian First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said.

"The United States is actually banning the UN Security Council from interfering," he pointed out, addressing a UN Security Council meeting on the Middle East.

"Gaza turning into a graveyard for Palestinian children is the outcome of this quiet diplomacy," Polyansky said. "This is not the first time that US diplomatic activities have left behind scorched earth and destruction," the Russian diplomat added.
