ST PETERSBURG, July 30. /TASS/. After the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, the Russian armed forces launched a series of preventive strikes on the places of production and dispatch of Ukrainian maritime drones. President Vladimir Putin said this while answering questions from journalists.
"The Russian armed forces launched a series of preventive strikes on the places where these drones were sent from and where they were produced," he said.
Putin said that he had received proposals to improve the safety of the bridge, and they would be implemented.
"This is technical physical protection, the use of other technical means. We are talking about this, and not about some kind of ideological content of the protection of the Crimean bridge. These are certain technologies that were proposed by experts, they must be implemented. It is not very expensive, but it I hope it will be reliable," Putin said.
