ST PETERSBURG, July 30. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin branded Germany's rejection of nuclear energy, coal and Russian gas as actions of "poorly educated people."
"Look at what those poorly educated people are doing in Germany. For decades, well, for years they have been scaring their population with climate change - is it happening? It is happening. For what reasons? Anthropogenic influence or something else. There is probably an anthropogenic influence, is it the main factor or not? So far no one can answer properly. But they started shutting down nuclear energy, they started shutting down our gas, they gave up coal. But, listen, you can't synthesize everything out of thin air," Putin said in an interview with reporters.
