ST. PETERSBURG, July 30. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin described the behavior of the Baltic countries, which are blocking Russian fertilizers in their ports as irrational.

Putin noted that 200,000 tons of Russian fertilizers are still blocked in the Baltic ports, as "someone doesn't want [in Russia] to earn money on this and use the money for the war, as they say."

However, the President stressed that Russian companies are ready to give away these fertilizers for free, which males the behavior of the Baltic countries difficult to explain.

"It's just irrational behavior," he said, answering questions from reporters.

The Russian President pointed out that the European countries "did not give a damn about the interests of the needy and the poorest countries," calling the supply of Ukrainian grain to world markets a "cover." "This is doubly immoral," he stressed.

Putin also noted that the main beneficiaries of the grain deal were large traders who bought Ukrainian grain at a discount and sold it at market prices "to prosperous countries."

"What do the interests of developing countries and starving peoples have to do with it?" Putin said, recalling that Russian grain has a market share of 20%, and Ukrainian - only 5%.
