"We expect the breakthrough in the implementation of the deal," Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said
UNITED NATIONS, April 3. /TASS/. The part of the grain deal that concerns exports of Russian food and fertilizers is not working, Russian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said on Monday.
"We've been saying consistently that the deal is not working, the second part of the deal which concerns the Russian experts is not working to 100% despite all the efforts the Secretary General and Rebeca Grynspan (Secretary-General of the UN Conference on Trade and Development - TASS) are undertaking," he said. "But we are where we are. And what will happen in 60 days? We expect the breakthrough [in the implementation of the deal]."
"I cannot predict, as I said, it's not my prerogative. Let's see what happens," he added.
