MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. It is impossible to completely rule out the UK’s direct participation in the conflict in Ukraine in the future, Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin said in an interview for RTVI Thursday.

"The UK […] gets ever deeper into this conflict, get increasingly involved in it - in this sense, one, of course, its involvement should be considered. But it is impossible to rule out anything in the future," he said, commenting on the probability of London’s direct participation in the conflict in Ukraine.

Kelin noted that "one cannot say that British Armed Forces are present there [in Ukraine], it would be wrong."

"It is involved in the conflict on the Ukrainian side to a significant degree. This involvement includes shipment of military vehicles, which started long before the conflict. […] After February 24, other aspects of the UK’s involvement started taking place: training of a significant number of [Ukrainian] servicemen in the UK, training, including participation of certain British specialists in training of divers, special operations forces specialists, artillerymen and so on," Kelin listed.
