KHERSON, November 4. /TASS/. The police uncovered an arms cache with almost 20 anti-tank grenade launchers stashed by the Ukrainian military in a municipal district in the Kherson Region, the regional interior department reported on Friday.
As the police specified, the arms cache was discovered on November 3 in a garage in the village of Kardashinka of the Golaya Pristan municipality in the Kherson Region.
"During the inspection, the police seized three wooden boxes with 18 anti-tank grenade launchers, one box with six Ukrainian army uniform sets, components of a Kalashnikov assault rifle and an RPG-7 hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher," the interior department said on its Telegram channel.
In addition, the police seized a cache with pistols, automatic weapons and rifles in the town of Skadovsk in the Kherson Region, it added.
"In all, the law-enforcers seized the following: an AK-74 assault rifle, an AKSU assault rifle with a magazine, two Makarov pistols with three magazines, a Fort-12 pistol, a Savage Axis rifle with an optical sight, 12mm Hatsan, Cobalt and Ata Arms hunting rifles, six F-1 grenades, an RGD-5 grenade, an RGO grenade, an RGD-P smoke grenade, eight fuses, 16 9mm rounds, 338 5.45mm rounds, 1,329 7.62mm rounds, 73 12mm rounds, an additional barrel for a 12mm rifle, an improvised rifle and a home-made silencer," the interior department added.
