Contracts worth nearly half a trillion rubles inked at Army-2022 forum - Shoigu
Russian Defense Minister pointed out that the contracts signed on the sidelines of the forum are the proof that Russia is "far from being isolated"
PATRIOT PARK /Moscow Region/, August 20. /TASS/. Russia’s Defense Ministry along with other agencies have signed contracts worth nearly half a trillion rubles at the Army-2022 forum, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said on Saturday in a televised interview with Rossiya-1 channel on the sidelines of the Army-2022 forum.
"We <...> have signed contracts worth almost half a trillion [rubles]. Among them are our contracts (the Defense Ministry’s ones), internal contracts, and those of other military groups and agencies," he said.
Shoigu pointed out that the contracts signed on the sidelines of the forum are the proof that Russia is "far from being isolated."
"And our defense industry works as it has worked: sustainably, reliably, and confidently," said Shoigu.
The Army-2022 international military-technical forum is running from August 15 to 21 at the Patriot Exhibition Center outside Moscow. The Russian Defense Ministry is the organizer of the event.
