BOGOTA, May 9. /TASS/. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on Sunday congratulated Russian on Victory Day.

"We are celebrating the 76th anniversary of the historic victory in the Great Patriotic War against fascism," he wrote on his Twitter account.

He stressed that the victory became possible "thanks to the valor and firmness of the Russian people".
