Charity Concert "Love under the Blue Sky" was Hosted on the Evening of January 1

The annual "Love under the Blue Sky - Amway's New Year Charity Concert" is a charitable cultural event put together by the Shanghai Charity Foundation following 19 years of preparations. The 2016 concert is a significant event co-hosted by the Shanghai Charity Foundation, its 10+-year partner Amway, and Shanghai Foreign Cultural Exchange. Musicians from the Moscow Concert Hall Symphony Orchestra were invited to perform at the event.
The Moscow Concert Hall Symphony Orchestra has established partnerships with a number of well-known conductors including Russia's Kata Aliyev and Poland's Czeslaw Grabovski, pianists such as the UK's Dmitri Alexeev and Poland's Marcin Sikorski and singers including the UK's Cyrus Dina. The Moscow Concert Hall Symphony Orchestra is well recognized for its performance of both popular contemporary music as well classical works from Russian composers. The orchestra's record albums have received international music awards. Since 1990, the orchestra has performed across Europe and been warmly welcomed in Italy, Germany, France, Spain and Switzerland. In 2011, the orchestra took part in Russian-themed music festivals held in Japan and South Korea. It also aroused huge interest among audiences at more than 30 performances worldwide.

First held in 2004, the Love under the Blue Sky - Amway's New Year Charity Concert, is now into its eleventh year. Amway has held New Year's charity concerts in several cities each year in celebration of the upcoming New Year, enabling audiences to enjoy the beauty and wonderment of music while raising money for at-risk children. As of 2015, Amway has held 87 New Year's charity concerts in 25 cities in cooperation with several charity organizations, providing enjoyment for 110,000 concert goers and raising nearly 9 million yuan (approx. US$1.4 million) in funding. For the past 12 years, over 22,000 at-risk children have benefited from the project, while some of the children have seen a true change in their destiny as a result of the undertaking.
