Party of Growth congress nominates business ombudsman Titov as presidential candidate
Russia's presidential election will be held on March 18
MOSCOW, December 21. /TASS/. The Congress of Russia’s Party of Growth endorsed the party’s Chairman and Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights Boris Titov as a candidate for the Russian presidential election on Thursday. The party’s election program, with which Titov will take part in the election, was endorsed as well.
"Seventy-four votes for and two against," the chairperson of the vote-counting board said.
A total of 58 delegates from 58 regional branches, 17 members of the party’s federal political council and two members of the control and auditing board took part in the congress, while 39 votes were sufficient for making a decision.
Member of Russia’s Central Election Commission Valery Galchenko monitored compliance with all procedures.
Russia's presidential election will be held on March 18.
