The Kremlin stresses the sanctions against Russian are illegal
MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Russia continues to work on building relations with the European Union (EU) despite possible extension of sanctions, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"We still regret and we believe that such decisions run counter to the interests of the EU member countries and Russia," he said. "The Russian Federation still considers these sanctions illegal and wrong in themselves. Yet, we are still on a course for better relations with Brussels that now leave much to be desired."
