Putin making preparations for annual news conference ‘from dawn to dusk’ — Kremlin
The Russian president's annual news conference will take place on December 14
MOSCOW, December 13. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has dedicated the whole of Wednesday to preparations for his annual news conference due on December 14, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
"The president is making preparations for the annual news conference all day," he said. "Yesterday his preparatory activity was interrupted only by one event - a meeting with Constitutional Court judges," he noted.
"There are no public events on the president’s agenda today, so he will be making preparations [for the news conference] from dawn to dusk," the Kremlin spokesman said.
"There is a certain duration limit, but at the same time, the schedule is flexible to some extent. There will be enough time for the news conference to be rather comprehensive, as it usually is," Peskov said when asked if the event would be limited in time.
While speaking about the upcoming news conference earlier, the Russian presidential spokesman pointed out that "the election campaign, which is about to begin, will definitely impact the news conference and preparations for it, as well as the president’s announcement of plans to seek re-election."
