MOSCOW, March 29. /TASS/. President Vladimir Putin has dismissed Russian traffic police chief Viktor Nilov and envoy to the European Court of Human Rights Georgy Matyushkin, according to a decree published on the official portal for legal information on Wednesday.

Nilov has been the head of State Inspection for Road Traffic Safety since 2011. He previously held senior positions in traffic police’s directorate of St. Petersburg and was appointed the aide to the Russian interior minister in 2009.

Matyushkin has been Russia’s representative in the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and the deputy justice minister since August 2008.

Putin also sacked Tatyana Ignatyeva, deputy head of the Federal Bailiffs Service, who was appointed in 2009.
