Moscow had always known that the CIA had servers for tapping the phones of the Russian leader, as mentioned by WikiLeaks, Peskov has noted

MOSCOW, March 9./TASS/. The Kremlin intends to thoroughly look into data published by WikiLeaks, but it is no secret for it that the US is actively tapping the phones of Russian officials, the Kremlin spokesman said on Thursday.

"Together with the global community we have certainly paid attention to the published data, of course it deserves attention and must be looked into more thoroughly," Dmitry Peskov stressed.

The spokesman said that "Washington, in fact, is making no bones about actively bugging phone calls of Russian officials - our [Ambassador to the US Sergey] Kislyak and so on."

Peskov was responding to a question on whether Moscow had known that the CIA had five servers for tapping the phones of the Russian leader, as mentioned by WikiLeaks.
