Russian military delivers humanitarian aid to some 5,500 Syrians over past 24 hours

The center reported that during the humanitarian missions over the past day "3.3 tonnes of bread, 2,500 hot meals" and "300 sets of foodstuffs" were delivered to over 5,680 people

MOSCOW, February 20. /TASS/. Russian military servicemen were involved in six humanitarian missions in war-torn Syria’s Aleppo and Latakia province providing with aid over 5,500 civilians over the past 24 hours, the Russian Center of the Reconciliation of the Warring Sides in Syria reported on Monday.

The center reported that during the humanitarian missions over the past day "3.3 tonnes of bread, 2,500 hot meals" and "300 sets of foodstuffs" were delivered to over 5,680 people.

The total weight of the delivered humanitarian aid to local residents is estimated at 5.2 tonnes, the Reconciliation Center said adding that works on the restoration of ruined infrastructure and provision with temporary shelters continued.
