Kremlin analyzes all international contacts of new US administration
The Kremlin monitors and analyzes all international contacts of the new US administration and the priority for Moscow is Russia’s national interest, Peskov said.
"Certainly, we carefully watch all international contacts of Washington and we take into account the contacts that are ongoing," Peskov told reporters. "The analysis of what’s happening on the international arena is part of daily work underway in Moscow."
"The national interest of the Russian Federation is the most important thing and everything depends on this," Peskov said when asked how the Kremlin assesses contacts of the new US administration with Japan and China and if flexibility shown by Washington gives positive signals to Moscow.
