Kremlin spokesman blasts Russian hacking allegations as hysteria
"We should wait until this fuss blows over," Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said
MOSCOW, January 12. /TASS/. Washington’s accusations of supposed Russian hacker attacks have turned into a real frenzy, making it is impossible to get to the bottom of the matter under such conditions, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
He was asked to comment on a statement made by Secretary of State nominee Rex Tillerson that Russia’s alleged hacker attacks requires an adequate response.
"This has turned into a real commotion, and as we know when throwing fits it is impossible to get to the bottom of any matter. We should wait until this fuss blows over," Peskov said.
He reiterated that Russia strongly denies any accusations on that matter.
"We think it is outright foolishness, we find that most of the allegations on the matter are either fake, or unprofessional information," the spokesman stated.
