UN Syria envoy’s adviser has no idea about real situation in Syria — Kremlin
Earlier UN Syria envoy’s adviser said earlier that Russia and Syria "are accountable for all atrocities that the victorious militias in Aleppo are now committing"
MOSCOW, December 13. /TASS/. Advisor to the UN Special Envoy for Syria, Jan Egeland, seems to have no full information about the real situation in Syria’s Aleppo, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
"Apparently, Mr. Egeland has no information on what is happening in Aleppo. Otherwise, he would pay attention to the atrocities of terrorist groups," Peskov told reporters commenting on Egeland’s remarks on Russia’s actions in Syria.
"In this case, the fact that he does not mention these atrocities shows that unfortunately he has no information on the real events in Syria and in Aleppo now," he said.
Egeland earlier wrote on his Twitter page that Russia and Syria "are accountable for any and all atrocities that the victorious militias in Aleppo are now committing."
