MOSCOW, November 4. /TASS/. The Russian Foreign Ministry has denied any involvement in the organization of a protest rally outside the UK Embassy in Moscow, the ministry’s official spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at the Govorit Moskva (Moscow Speaking) radio station on Friday.

"The Foreign Ministry has never urged either activists or public people to hold any rallies outside foreign embassies for just one reason. The Russian Federation fully meets its commitments, in particular the Vienna Convention, under which we are obliged to protect and guarantee a certain level of security to diplomatic missions," Zakharova said.

Earlier media reports said that on Friday a group of protesters hurled mannequin limbs into the premises of the UK Embassy in Moscow.

On Thursday, a group of protesters blocked the entrance to the Russian Embassy in London, holding a protest rally and dumping mannequin body parts outside. "The security of the Russian diplomatic mission in the UK was compromised," the embassy said in a statement posted on its official website, noting the embassy’s telephone line was blocked as well.

Earlier, in the House of Commons British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson had encouraged to protest against the Russian operation in Syria by staging rallies outside Russia’s diplomatic missions in the UK.
