A Russian diplomat notes there is disinformation that Aleppo residents are frightened and do not go outside because of Russian and Syrian air strikes

MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Medical evacuation from the Syrian city of Aleppo, expected during the latest humanitarian pause, was disrupted due to incomplete work by international humanitarian organizations, including those reporting to the UN, Russian Foreign Ministry Commissioner for Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law Konstantin Dolgov said on Wednesday, speaking at a roundtable discussion on the Syria crisis.

"There is disinformation that Aleppo residents are frightened and do not go outside because of Russian and Syrian air strikes or because medical evacuation has been disrupted," Dolgov said. "But no-one says that it (the medical evacuation from Aleppo) was neither prepared nor carried out properly by international humanitarian organizations, with those reporting to the UN among them, while the humanitarian pause was in effect."

The humanitarian pause announced by Russia near Aleppo was in effect on October 20-22 to allow civilians and militants to leave the city and also to ensure humanitarian aid deliveries to the city’s residents.
