Kremlin wants Western media's unbiased coverage of Russian, Syrian troops' activities
Dmitry Peskov has specifically stressed the unwillingness of Anglo-Saxon outlets to cover the activity of Russian forces and Syrian troops in Syria
MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/.The Kremlin regrets that media sources, especially Anglo-Saxon outlets, selectively cover Syria events, ignoring the activity of Syrian and Russian forces, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
"The selective coverage of Syria events is obvious. The unwillingness of our counterparts from major foreign media organizations, especially Anglo-Saxon outlets, to pay due attention, the unwillingness to cover the activity of Russian forces and Syrian troops there are also obvious," Peskov said.
"In this regard, we express our regret," the Kremlin spokesman said.
In reply to the proposal to organize a trip for Western media representatives to Syria’s Aleppo, the Kremlin spokesman said: "our military are dealing with this issue."
"We are urging counterparts in the media industry to be more attentive and balanced in the presentation of information," the presidential spokesman said.
