MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has dismissed the rumors he may replace outgoing presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

"Rumors, rumors, sheer rumors," Peskov told the media, when asked about media reports such a reshuffle was due.

He added he had no intention of commenting rumors.

"Ushakov is an international affairs aide, while my position is that of a deputy chief of presidential staff and presidential spokesman," he said. "We like everything."

"All of us are civil servants. We were appointed by the president and will be dismissed by the president. For the time being all of us keep doing our jobs."

On Tuesday, some mass media said that Ushakov was about to be dismissed to be appointed Russia’s ambassador to a European country. Peskov was mentioned as his likely successor.
