MOSCOW, October 8. /TASS/. Chairman of Russian Federation Council’s Foreign Affairs Committee Konstantin Kosachev has doubts the West will launch an unbiased investigation into the war crimes in Yemen, he wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday.

"If the Americans and their European allies have conscience, there will follow a storm of condemnation towards Saudi Arabia, with threats of sanctions and demands to immediately look into the war crimes of that country that has been bombing Yemen for a year and a half," Kosachev said. "However, something tells me it will never happen."

The lawmaker claims that if so, Riyadh would implement its threat to sell out U.S. assets worth $750 billion.

The latest reports say that the death toll is 82 in the air strike of the Saudi-led coalition on a funeral procession in the center of Yemeni capital, Sanaa. At least 500 more people were wounded in the strike.
