Russia awaiting NATO’s response to proposals on security in airspace
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov said that Russia is prepared to discuss with NATO the issues presenting mutual but not one-sided interest

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg have discusse the modality of an expert meeting on security in airspace, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov said on Wednesday upon the results of a meeting between Lavrov and Stoltenberg.
He said the sides the discussion centered on the modality of a meeting of experts from Russian, NATO member-states and regional countries on flights over the Baltic Sea.
"An initiative to organize a meeting of this kind came from Russia," Meshkov said.
Russia is prepared to discuss with NATO the issues presenting mutual but not one-sided interest, he said.
"The Russian side is prepared to discuss the issues presenting mutual interest mutual, not one-sided interest," Meshkov said. "It's a matter of principle for us to know well-specified details of the forthcoming meetings."
