MOSCOW, September 7. /TASS/. Russian State Duma Speaker Sergey Naryshkin said Wednesday he does not rule out that a united parliamentary body could appear in the future in Eurasia.

"Functional and institutional development of Eurasian integration is closely connected," Naryshkin said in his article "CIS: lessons of 25-year anniversary" published on the Russian government daily Rossiiskaya Gazeta’s website.

"Thus, the rates of formation of the common market of goods, services, capitals and workforce are in many respects defined by efficiency of activity of the Eurasian economic commission, the Eurasian court, as well as cooperation of parliaments in unification and harmonization of national legislations," he said.

"The parliamentary dimension of Eurasian integration may acquire more developed forms (up to a united parliamentary body) on the basis of readiness and general consent," Naryshkin said.
