MOSCOW, September 2. /TASS/. Russia's Economic Development Ministry does not rule out further decline in food prices in September, a ministry representative told TASS on Monday.

Early in the day, the Russian State Statistics Service reported 0.6% deflation in August for foods, including fruit and vegetables.

"We do not rule out further decline in food prices," the official said, replying to a question about possible extension of food price deflation in September.
