Putin’s trip to Vladivostok will be multi-faceted — Kremlin

On September 1, visits by the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and South Korea’s President Park Geun-hye are expected

MOSCOW, August 30. /TASS/. Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has described President Vladimir Putin’s forthcoming trip to Vladivostok as multi-faceted.

"Putin is flying to Vladivostok tomorrow. Part of the program will be devoted to the local Vladivostok themes. On September 1 there will be certain events related with visits by the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and South Korea’s President Park Geun-hye. Others will be connected with the Eastern Economic Forum. It will be a multi-faceted trip," Peskov said.

He recalled that after Vladivostok Putin would to go the G20 summit in Hangzhou, China. Many bilateral meetings are expected on the sidelines, Peskov said.
