MOSCOW, August 1. /TASS/. Moscow’s Lyublinsky District Court has refused to change the suspended sentence of Russian opposition activist and blogger Alexei Navalny in the Yves Rocher case to a real prison term, a TASS correspondent reported from the courtroom on Monday.

While announcing the ruling, the judge said that there were no gross violations in Navalny’s actions in executing the sentence of the Moscow Zamoskvoretsky District Court and that he fully repaired the damage in the case.

The petition received from Russia’s Federal Penitentiary Service said Navalny regularly violates his responsibilities as a person under suspended sentence. Moscow’s Lyublinsky District Court earlier rejected the service’s appeals.

On December 30, 2014, Alexei Navalny and his brother Oleg were found guilty by Moscow's Zamoskvoretsky District Court in the case on the embezzlement of Yves Rocher funds. Alexei got a 3.5-year suspended sentence, while his brother was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.
