MOSCOW, July 21. /TASS/. Moscow is urging Turkey to stop making "black lists" of Russian reporters, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on Thursday.

According to her, on July 18, the reporters of Russia’s TV channel REN-TV were not allowed to cross the Turkish border because their names were on "the black list," which implies a ban on their entry to Turkey for five years.

"We commented on the stop-list issue, we raised it during the talks with Turkish colleagues," Zakharova said.

"Unfortunately, the Russian embassy’s nota remained unanswered. We are waiting for clarifications from Turkey about the existence of the black list. Considering the emerging positive trends in relations with Turkey the practice of black lists should be over," she said.
