The EU prolonged anti-Russian sanctions on July 2
MOSCOW, July 4. /TASS/. Sanctions imposed against Russia brought the European Union into a deadlock and it will have to find the way out on its own, Russian Permanent Representative to the European Union Vladimir Chizhov said on Monday.
"I think the EU countries gradually start realizing sanctions have already brought the European Union into a stalemate. However, it will have to find the way out of this deadlock on its own," Chizhov said.
On July 2 the European Union prolonged economic sectoral sanctions against Russia until January 31, 2017.
