According to the Kremlin spokesman, neither Russia nor Europaen states noticed any actions that might add optimism

MOSCOW, July 4. /TASS/. Ukraine has not made any new effort to facilitate the implementation of the Minsk Agreements, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Monday.

"At least, no new actions were performed that would have added optimism (about the implementation of the Minsk Agreements)," Peskov said.

"Neither us nor our European colleagues have registered any new elements," he noted answering a question on whether there are suitable conditions for holding a new meeting in the "Normandy format" (Russia, Germany, France, Ukraine). "The situation with implementation of the Minsk Agreements leaves much to be desired," he concluded.

The Minsk accords envisage ceasefire, weaponry withdrawal, prisoner exchange, local election in Donbass, constitutional reform in Ukraine and establishing working sub-groups on security, political, economy and humanitarian components of the Minsk accords.
