Former drug control service’s head removed from Russian Security Council

MOSCOW, May 8. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on amending the composition of Russia’s Security Council and removing former head of Federal Drug Control Service (FDCS) Viktor Ivanov, the official portal of legal information said on Sunday.
The decree enters into force from the day of its signing - May 7.
Ivanov headed FDCS until April 2016. On April 5 Putin signed a decree abolishing FDCS and Federal Migration Service. Their functions will be performed by the Interior Ministry. On the same day, Putin announced the establishment of National Guard.
