"If we speak about the Kurds from Salih Muslim’s Democratic Union Party, efforts to solve the problem of their non-representation at the Geneva talks are failing so far", he said
DAMASCUS, April 17. /TASS/. The veto on the Kurdish Democratic Union Party’s participation in the intra-Syrian talks originates from Turkey which is capable of breaking down the dialogue in Geneva in case the Kurds are ultimately invited, Russian Ambassador to Syria Alexander Kinshchak told TASS on Sunday.
"If we speak about the Kurds from Salih Muslim’s Democratic Union Party, efforts to solve the problem of their non-representation at the Geneva talks are failing so far. United Nations Secretary General’s Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura is faling to do that either," he said. "To call thing by their proper names, it implies Turkey’s veto on inviting Salih Muslim and his supporters to Geneva.".
