Russia ready to share experience with EU in combating terrorism — State Duma speaker
"We are ready to share our experience of countering extremism and terrorism and our experience related to the accommodation of refugees," Sergey Naryshkin says
MOSCOW, April 6. /TASS/. Russia is willing to share experience with the European Union in the fight against terrorism as well as in refugee accommodation, Chairman of Russia’s State Duma (lower house of parliament) Sergey Naryshkin said on Wednesday at a meeting with Austrian President Heinz Fischer.
"Of course, we are anxiously following the developments related to the migrant crisis in the European Union member-countries and in Europe as a whole, "Naryshkin said. "We understand that this massive influx of refugees from the Middle East and North Africa stems from the ill-considered and irresponsible policy, above all, of the US aimed at meddling in the internal affairs of countries in this region and attempts to overthrow the undesirable governments in these countries."
"This, of course, seriously affects European countries as well, I mean the terrorist threat but also the economic problems relating to refugee accommodation in the EU member-countries," he noted.
"For our part, we are ready to share our experience of countering extremism and terrorism and our experience related to the accommodation of refugees," Naryshkin added.
