Lavrov: Solution of Iran’s nuclear problem serves international security interests

The Russian policy of diplomatic resolution of crisis situations in the world is fully justified, the country's top diplomat says
MOSCOW, February 5. /TASS/. Russia has always believed that the Iranian nuclear problem must be solved in the interests of regional and international security and non-proliferation nuclear regime, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Friday.
"The Russian policy of diplomatic resolution of crisis situations in the world is fully justified," Lavrov said, adding that the negotiations on Tehran’s nuclear program gave a chance to "provide Iran with the rights of peaceful nuclear energy use, including uranium enrichment, under the full control of the International Atomic Energy Agency and to lift all anti-Iranian sanctions."
