Implementation Day of the joint comprehensive action plan for the Iran’s nuclear program may occur at the latest of the first quarter of 2016 and probably in January

MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Transportation of more than 8.5 tonnes of Iranian uranium to Russia is planned to be completed by the end of the year, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said on Tuesday.

"The prospect of implementing the Joint Plan of Action looks positive in general. Until the end of the year, we will most likely complete transporting low-enriched uranium from Iran to Russia - more than 8.5 tonnes," Ryabkov, who served as Russia’s representative at the talks on the Iranian nuclear program, said.

The diplomat noted no political difficulties are expected when implementing the plan of action on Iran.

According to the official, Implementation Day of the joint comprehensive action plan for the Iran’s nuclear program may occur at the latest of the first quarter of 2016 and probably in January.

"I believe the implementation day [of the joint comprehensive action plan for the Iran’s nuclear program - TASS] may take place if not in January, then definitely in the first quarter of 2016," the official said.
