Russia concerned over Kiev’s policy towards inciting inter-religious hatred
The ministry has also voiced concerns about the continuing deterioration of the situation of Christian communities in a number of member OSCE states
MOSCOW, December 2. /TASS/. Moscow is concerned over the policy of Ukraine’s authorities towards inciting inter-religious hatred, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday.
"We are especially alarmed by the official line of Ukraine towards inciting inter-religious hatred in the country," the ministry said in a commentary ahead of the OSCE Ministerial Council’s meeting in Belgrade on December 3-4 to be attended by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The ministry has also voiced concerns about the continuing "deterioration of the situation of Christian communities in a number of member states of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE)."
Russia also calls on the OSCE to take steps to help resolve the migration crisis in Europe, the ministry said, stressing the importance to analyze its causes and provide assistance to the countries hosting refugees.
