MOSCOW, November 6 /TASS/. Alexander Bortnikov, director of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), has called for suspending Russian flights to Egypt until the true causes behind the A321 crash are established.
"So long as we do not establish the true causes of what happened, I think it would be reasonable to stop Russian aviation flights to Egypt. It concerns tourism in the first place," Bortnikov said in the opening speech at an extraordinary meeting of the National Anti-Terror Committee.
According to Alexander Bortnikov, it is necessary to obtain completely impartial data on the causes of the A321 jet crash.
"We need to get completely impartial and verified data on the causes of the disaster. This is necessary both for investigating the causes of the disaster and for informing the public. The work must be carried out scrupulously and take as much time as necessary," he said.
