The United States has blocked Russia’s draft statement by the UN Security Council president on the settlement of conflicts in the Middle East that was expected to be adopted at the ministerial level meeting on September 30, Russia’s UN envoy Vitaly Churkin told TASS.

"The statement was blocked. The Americans said they will not work on our statement," he said.
