EU, NATO push OSCE away from European policy — Russia’s OSCE envoy
According to Lukashevich, problems in European security have started accumulating recently
MOSCOW, September 23. /TASS/. Russia’s permanent Representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Alexander Lukashevich said the organisation used double standards practice and diverged from original purposes.
"The events concerning the OSCE are unlikely to comply with the principles of the organisation’s creation," Lukashevich told Russia-24 TV channel. "The appearance the European Union (EU) and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) pushed the OSCE away from European policy."
"The influence of the group of states enforcing their will is extremely strong," he said. "The confrontation increases due to Ukrainian crisis."
According to Lukashevich, problems in European security have started accumulating recently.
"The goals for collective decisions to be taken are far from being implemented."
