MOSCOW, November 3. /TASS/. Russian forces struck port infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian army and enemy deployment sites over the past 24 hours in the special military operation in Ukraine, Russia’s Defense Ministry reported.

"Operational/tactical aircraft, attack unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops and artillery of the Russian groups of forces struck port infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian army, sites for the launch and storage of unmanned aerial vehicles, and also temporary deployment areas of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 144 locations," the ministry said in a statement.

The Ukrainian army lost roughly 1,105 troops in battles with Russian forces in all the frontline areas over the past 24 hours, according to the latest data on the special military operation in Ukraine released by Russia’s Defense Ministry.

The latest figures show that the Ukrainian army lost roughly 140 troops and two armored combat vehicles in the responsibility area of Russia’s Battlegroup North, about 210 troops and two armored combat vehicles in the responsibility area of the Battlegroup West and over 175 troops and an armored combat vehicle in the responsibility area of the Battlegroup South.

During the last 24-hour period, the Ukrainian army also lost roughly 340 troops and five armored combat vehicles in the responsibility area of Russia’s Battlegroup Center, about 215 troops and three armored personnel carriers in the responsibility area of the Battlegroup East and around 25 troops and 15 motor vehicles in the responsibility area of the Battlegroup Dnepr, the latest figures show.

Russia’s Battlegroup North inflicted roughly 140 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two enemy armored combat vehicles in its areas of responsibility over the past 24 hours, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup North units improved their tactical position and inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of three mechanized brigades, an unmanned systems brigade and an assault regiment of the Ukrainian army in areas near the settlements of Aleksandrovka, Tomakhovka, Fyodorovka, Bugayevka, Rubezhnoye, Sonino and Primorskoye in the Kharkov Region," the ministry said.

In the Sumy direction, Battlegroup North units struck formations of a mechanized brigade, an airmobile brigade of the Ukrainian army and two territorial defense brigades in areas near the settlements of Korenek, Gorki, Spasskoye, Putivl, Markovka and Nikolskoye in the Sumy Region, it said.

The Ukrainian army lost roughly 140 personnel, two armored combat vehicles, 16 motor vehicles and an artillery gun in the areas of responsibility of Russia’s Battlegroup North over the past 24 hours, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup West inflicted roughly 210 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed two enemy armored combat vehicles in its area of responsibility over the past 24 hours, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup West units improved their forward positions and inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of a mechanized brigade, an assault brigade of the Ukrainian army and a marine infantry brigade in areas near the settlements of Izyum, Chervony Oskol, Ivanovka, Studenok, Monachenovka and Smorodkovka in the Kharkov Region and Rubtsy in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost an estimated 210 personnel, two armored combat vehicles, eight motor vehicles and two electronic warfare stations in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it said.

Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicts over 175 casualties on Ukrainian army in past day

Russia’s Battlegroup South inflicted more than 175 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed an enemy armored combat vehicle in its area of responsibility over the past 24 hours, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup South units improved their tactical position and inflicted losses on formations of two mechanized brigades, a motorized infantry brigade, an assault brigade, an airmobile brigade and two assault regiments of the Ukrainian army in areas near the settlements of Kramatorsk, Slavyansk, Nikolayevka, Druzhkovka, Vysokoivanovka, Krasnotorka, Starodubovka and Kondratovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost more than 175 personnel, an armored combat vehicle, 36 motor vehicles, a field artillery gun and an electronic warfare station in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup Center inflicted roughly 340 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed five enemy armored combat vehicles in its area of responsibility over the past 24 hours, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup Center units gained better lines and positions and inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of three mechanized brigades, two air assault brigades, an assault brigade, two assault regiments of the Ukrainian army, a marine infantry brigade and three National Guard brigades in areas near the settlements of Krivorozhye, Golubovka, Yakovlevka, Andreyevka, Sergeyevka, Belozerskoye, Varvarovka and Shavrovo in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Ukrainka in the Dnepropetrovsk Region," the ministry said.

Russia’s Battlegroup East inflicted roughly 215 casualties on Ukrainian troops and destroyed three enemy armored personnel carriers in its area of responsibility over the past 24 hours, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup East units advanced into the depth of the enemy’s defenses and inflicted losses on manpower and equipment of two air assault brigades, an assault regiment of the Ukrainian army and a marine infantry brigade in areas near the settlements of Barvinovka, Zalivnoye, Tersyanka, Listovka, Vasilevskoye and Sergeyevka in the Zaporozhye Region, Kolomiytsy, Gavrilovka and Katerinovka in the Dnepropetrovsk Region," the ministry said.

The Ukrainian army lost an estimated 215 personnel, three armored personnel carriers and five motor vehicles in that frontline area over the past 24 hours, it specified.

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr eliminates 25 Ukrainian troops in past day

Russia’s Battlegroup Dnepr eliminated roughly 25 Ukrainian troops and destroyed 15 enemy motor vehicles in its area of responsibility over the past 24 hours, the ministry reported.

"Battlegroup Dnepr units improved their forward positions and inflicted losses on formations of a mechanized brigade, a mountain assault brigade of the Ukrainian army and a territorial defense brigade in areas near the settlements of Kamyshevakha, Grigorovka and Orekhov in the Zaporozhye Region," the ministry said.

"Up to 25 [Ukrainian] military personnel, 15 motor vehicles and an electronic warfare station were destroyed," it said.

Russian air defenses intercept 1,265 Ukrainian UAVs, four Neptune missiles in past day

Russian air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 1,265 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and four Neptune missiles over the past 24 hours, the ministry reported.

"Air defense capabilities shot down four Neptune long-range missiles and 1,265 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

Tally of Ukrainian army’s losses

Overall, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 674 Ukrainian combat aircraft, 284 helicopters, 278,646 unmanned aerial vehicles, 672 surface-to-air missile systems, 31,515 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,795 multiple rocket launchers, 36,862 field artillery guns and mortars and 76,246 special military motor vehicles since the start of the special military operation, the ministry reported.
