MOSCOW, November 1. /TASS/. Ill-wishers wanted to derail the Russia-Africa Summit, but they failed, even though some delegations faced difficulties on their way to Moscow, Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov told Vesti reporter Pavel Zarubin.
"Some had a difficult time getting here. This major event wasn’t derailed, even though some wanted to," he noted.
The third Russia-Africa Summit concluded in Moscow on October 29. It brought together delegations from 48 African countries, including 22 heads of state. Previous summits took place in St. Petersburg in the summer of 2023 and in Sochi in the fall of 2019.
