MOSCOW, October 28. /TASS/. De Beers diamond company wants to cooperate with Russia and Moscow welcomes such cooperation, President Vladimir Putin said at the third Russia-Africa summit.

"De Beers is apparently the main competitor [for Russian Alrosa diamond miner] on the one part. On the other part, they want more and more to cooperate with Russia because problems are created [for them] there, in the Western world, they endeavor to establish relations with Russia, with our company. We are for this, we only welcome such cooperation," Putin said.
