According to Deputy Foreign Minister Georgy Borisenko, Moscow understands that many countries are in need of Russian grain or other agricultural goods
MOSCOW, October 28. /TASS/. Russia will continue to supply agricultural products to markets in Africa and other regions of the world, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Georgy Borisenko told reporters.
"Russia will surely continue to supply agricultural products to markets in Africa and other regions of the world. We understand that many countries are in need of Russian grain or other agricultural goods, and we are always ready to meet our partners halfway and provide assistance to them," he said.
Russian Ambassador to Turkey Sergey Vershinin said earlier that Moscow continued discussing measures to ensure the safety of navigation in the Black Sea, including with Ankara, adding that the previous Black Sea initiative failed to progress due to Kiev’s stance.
Meanwhile Kenya's Ambassador to Russia Peter Mathuki noted in an interview with TASS that the logistics of grain shipments to Africa were facing serious challenges amid the situation in the Black Sea region.
