MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. Russia calls on Japan to rethink its unfriendly policies if it wants to restore dialogue with Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry said after a meeting between Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko and Japanese Ambassador to Russia Akira Muto.

"The Russian side shared its views on a range of issues regarding Russian-Japanese relations. It was stressed that in order to restore a comprehensive interstate dialogue, the current Japanese authorities should abandon their unfriendly course toward Russia," it said.
