In 2026, 54 residents of the Vasilyevka Municipal District have been killed, and another 443 have suffered injuries, the district’s head, Natalia Romanichenko, said in an international televised discussion held at the OSCE regarding acts of terror committed by the Ukrainian armed forces in the Zaporozhye Region.

"Let me provide the figures for the wounded and the deceased. In 2025, there were 166 wounded and 18 killed; as of October 22, 2026, 443 people have been wounded and 54 have been killed," she stated.

She added that the wounded include 17 children, and those killed include an 11-year-old girl.
