ISTANBUL, October 22. /TASS/. Russia is in contact with Turkey and other countries on the issues of security in the Black Sea, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko said on the sidelines of the 19th Verona Eurasian Economic Forum.

No palliative solutions with regard to security in the Black Sea are possible, the high-ranking Russian diplomat stressed.

"We are in contact not only with Turkey, as well as with many other countries on the issues of security in the Black Sea. Various aspects are touched upon but our position is as such," Grushko said, replying to a question about whether Turkey had submitted any formalized proposals on Black Sea grain exports.
